Amber Johnson, LPC-Associate Supervised by Eric Ward, LPC-Supervisor

Amber has been working in education for the last 14 years as a teacher for grades PK-8th and as a School Counselor. Now a Licensed LPC-Associate, I utilize the skills that I have gained in building relationships and working with children, adolescents, and families with varying cultural, linguistic, and behavioral concerns. 

I use a variety of modalities for treatment that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Client Centered, and play. Christian counseling is available upon request. I enjoy working with children ages 7 and up to teens, including working with their parents, adults, and those who work in the education system. 

Counseling is an important step. As a counselor I want to help provide you with a welcoming safe space where you can grow and continue on the road to healing.
